Friends Friday is for meeting new cats, dogs or other blogs and posting about your new-found friends on your blog!!!!
My new friend this week is Misha from The World According To Misha! Misha lives in Auckland, New Zealand He's smoother with the ladies than James Bond and has a butt that just won't quit. He is the foxiest feline in Freemans Bay. A true Russian Blue mancat extraordinaire. (I swiped that description from his blog..I can't claim the clever wording this time) Misha's Picture: Cosmo's Picture:Misha lives with Cosmo, his big sister. Like me, Misha is an educated fellow who doesn't bother with baby talk or kitty speak. Soon after joining the cat blogosphere, Misha made headlines by starting the Cat President of the World nominations and elections. You should check them out today!

Hello all cats of the blogosphere and beyond. I have come to bring Purr-pose to us all. I have come to ensure you all know how incredibly important you all are to the world and that we can all create big change through our own seemingly small changes.
I will increase aid to feral and orphaned kitties.
I will increase awareness for spaying/neutering.
I will make Fancy Feast the mandatory dinner for all cats.
The Monkeys are Samson (the Tuxie) and Delilah (the Tortie). They are from Canada. They are both rescues and are about 2 or 3 months apart in age and just started blogging this month! Delilah is the big sis and definitely dominates over her little brother. She loves picking on him, and he loves her anyways 'cause they get to monkey around with their beans and drive 'em up the walls! (Hence "The Monkeys") You should check them out!
Thanks for participating!
PS: I haven't quite figured out the whole Mr. Linky thingamajig yet, so to participate in Friends Friday, please leave your blog address in the comments! Thanks again!
So, beginning tomorrow, I am going to begin hosting a new weekly event here on my blog called
Friends Friday! Everyone who participates will be encouraged to visit new blogs on Fridays and post about their newfound friends! A big shout out to Kimo and Sabi for having their new friend new year contest that gave me this idea!!!
Good thing I'm already wearing a tux because today is a very important day in the history of this great country! Our 44th president, Barack Obama, is being inaugurated today! Let's all take a moment to be thankful for the democratic process and the increasingly open-minded beans out there who know how to pick a leader that will do great things for this country!
Check me out! The wonderfully creative Ann from Zoolatry made this fancy photo of me, ready for a night on the town. Any takers, Ladies? My beans say that Ann better watch out, though! Over the weekend they invested in some photo editing software! They think they will give Ann a run for her money, but I am pretty sure she's been doing this a while! I mean, look at her amazing work! We shall see. We shall see. Pretty soon I am going to put up my new header, too that Ann created for me. I think her and Maggy and Zoey are really swell! Happy Mancat Monday! Kiddo
Hey everybody! Sorry it's been a couple days since I last posted. The weekends get super busy around here. Especially when the beans are both off of work. They have to have time to catch up with each other and on all their grown-up stuff...OK, enough about them!
So, one of my Christmas presents was a nice new collar. My beans have been trying to get a good picture of me modeling it and it finally happened!
Isn't it nice? I've never worn a collar that didn't have flea juice on it. It is very stylish. I have thought about tying a bow to it so I can have a bow tie to go with my tux!!
Now, some interesting cat news...
Today, it has been drawn to my attention that the species gap between cats and mice has been bridged by a very sweet cat on YouTube. It is the end of all assumptions of hatred and war between cats and mice as we know it.. Take a look:
Tripper is a wild ex-feral who lives with his beans and a Siamese kitty named Mao.
When Tripper's beans empty his litter box, he loves to jump in and play around in the clean litter, eventually laying down for a nice rest! As you can see here, he loves to play dress up. You can see more of his costumes on his catster site: http://www.catster.com/cats/323545
There are seven cats and a dog over there! I bet it gets crowded! They live on Gibbs Creek in North Carolina and have been blogging since September of '08. Maggie May even has her own blog at http://tootlebugmags.blogspot.com/. She has a luxating patella.
Finally, we've got Gandalf and Grayson of www.gandalfandgrayson.com. These two fellas live together with their bean, Barb, in Georgia. They love to go outside to the dirt and eat the new grass. They are both Mancats of course, proud members of the M-Cats Club. They have been blogging since December 12, 2007. They also have a blog where they write cool stories at http://thestorygame.wordpress.com
I hope I have inspired you to learn more about your friends, too! Happy Friday!
She was nominated for the 2008 weblog award for best pet blog. Please vote for her and NOT for I can has cheezburgur. Although, I LOVE I can had cheezburger, I really don't see how it is much of a pet blog. It is more like a collection of funny photos. I don't know. I don't know what the criteria is exactly. So...please VOTE DAISY!!!!
